Enjoy the sunshine with this print based on Victorian art. This print collage blends four victorian pieces into this beachy print.

What you get:

  • This print is 8 inches tall x 10 inches wide.
  • The frame and mat are NOT included.
  • It’s printed with archival inks on high-quality, acid-free fine art paper with a matte finish.

I partner with a professional printer who specializes in fine art prints. They know how to create gorgeous prints and how to ship them safely to you.

More about the art this is based on:

  • I combined four works and added my embellishments to create this piece.
The seascape is from an oil painting called "Study for Eagle Head, Manchester, Massachusetts" by Winslow Homer. It's thought to have been painted in 1869. It is part of The Metropolitan Museum of Art collection.
  • The lady with the parasol is in an engraving, also by Winslow Homer called "On the Beach—Two Are Company, Three Are None." It was published in 1872 in Harper’s Weekly. This piece of art is part of the Art Institute of Chicago collection.
  • The sun shining on the left-side of the print is from a graphic found in the front of the book "The old Sun inn, at Bethlehem, Pa., 1758" published in 1876. The author is William Cornelius Reichel. However, the artist of the graphic is not clear. This book is in the collection of the Library of Congress.
  • The sketch of the shoreline is from a piece called "Coastal Scene" by Alfred Thompson Bricher. It is dated at 1875. This piece is in the collection of the Minneapolis Institute of Art.
