This image is based on an 1830 engraving of the ballerina Augusta Fuchs, in the character of La Sylphide. I've enhanced the print by cleaning it up, sharpening it, adjusting the colors, and most importantly, drawing and placing a broom in her hands. 

The printer uses archival inks. I partner with a professional art printer who produces quality work. They know how to create gorgeous prints and how to safely ship them to you. The print may be rolled or shipped flat at the discretion of the printer, but it will most likely be flat.

This original print was created in 1829 by an artist named Zwinger. The original is part of The Miriam and Ira D. Wallach Division of Art, Prints and Photographs: Picture Collection at the New York Public Library.
